According to eye witness, Nicholas Adomako, who is also a family member of one of the deceased, Kofi Acquah, Owura and D-Black operate as galamseyers in Anyinasa of Obuasi and all are natives of Akokoamon and family.
D-Black accused Kofi Acquah Popularly known as Labista of stealing his gold which he denied any knowledge of the missing gold.
A fight ensued between D-Black and Labista. As a result D-Black, called some friends from Asowase in the Asokore Manpong Municipality to come and deal with Labista.
When the boys came to Akokoamon, they searched for Labista, 27, and stabbed him in the neck where he died instantly.
They youngmen in the town seeing the death of Labista grew wild and lynched two of the thugs from Asowase who were trying to run away to death and burnt their motorbikes.
The bodies of the three youngmen has since been deposited at the Living Waters Mortuary at Ejisu Krapa.
